I have just started making these funky, soothing herbal packs that are wonderful for alleviating aches and pains in labor or postpartum. 

Just pop it in the microwave or freezer and then apply to ease stress.

They make fantastic babyshower gifts too!

Economy large lavender pack (not washable): $9

Deluxe large lavender pack (with removable, washable cover, ideal for doulas) $16

Small square lavender pack (ideal for smaller areas or used collectively in different areas.) $6

Forthcoming Group Classes 

Sling workshops: 1st Friday in the month 10 - 11.30am

Learn about the benefits of the ancient tradition of babywearing. Learn about the importance of touch and attachment with our children. Look at and discover different types of slings, get the opportunity to try a variety, ask questions, bring your own.

This is not an opportunity to buy slings as I do not sell them, but you will get an idea of the variety out on the market and where you can go to buy.

First time parents classes suitable for couples due in late March, April and May

Cost $200

Intensive Weekend course: Preparation for Childbirth and Parenting.

Sunday February 10th 9am - 5pm

Saturday February 16th 9am - 4pm

All the information in the six week course, condensed into just two days split over two weekends. Perfect for busy couples!

First time parents!

Pregnancy after a loss

This new class is being introduced for parents who have either lost a child in utero or shortly after birth.

If you are wishing to try again for a precious baby or are already pregnant, but still need to debrief your birth or learn how to manage your grief over your loss and your fears for your subsequent or current pregnancy, this may be the group for you.

This group will run on Monday 31st March from 7 - 9pm. Come to meet in a sensitive environment with other grieving parents.

 Receive support and friendship and the strength to try again.

There is no fee for this class, however donations are appreciated and will be given to March of Dimes in Norwalk.

Wednesday May 7th   7.30 - 9.30pm - Preparing for siblings

This class is aimed at second time and subsequent parents who are looking to find ways to ease the transition of bringing a baby home to a toddler (or older child). The class will cover areas such as:

• Preparing for birth and debriefing your previous birth/s
• How to prepare your child to be a big brother or sister
• Bringing baby home
• How will we manage two? - the changing routines, time management
• Sibling rivalry, jealousy etc
• Tips for survival!!
